My, oh my Boo Radley

My Boo Radley is the whole, wide world. When I was younger, I didn't understand why the world was so big and how far distance was. I thought Asia was only a few hours away. I always thought other countries were close to my town. when my mom would show me a world map, I  always thought the whole map was near Olympia, Washington.

I knew there were different sections of places, but I thought the distance between two countries or continents were short. In my mind at five years old, I thought the distance from my house to another city was India. My first out-of-state experience was when I was five, in Illinois. Once I got off the plane, I thought the world was too big for me to live in. when I arrived in the state, I felt the world growing beneath my feet. This experience was a similar feeling when Jem touched Boo Radley’s house for the first time.

Scout was afraid to confront Boo Radley because of all the rumors she heard about him. She got a creepy vibe from Boo. That was similar of what had happened to me when I was younger. I was confused how the world was setup, Adults knew everything that I didn’t and left me wondering. With the help of Atticus, Scour learns how to deal with different people’s perspective.

I grew afraid of the thought of the Earth growing while I was unaware. I wanted the world to be small and organized so going place to place was easy. I always thought I should’ve kept track of each place; I wanted it to be less complicated. Scout resolves things with Boo; she never tried to hurt him in anyway. At the end she finally understood other perspectives as do I.

Giselle's Intro

My name is Giselle and I like reading mystery books. My favorite thing about stories is the suspense the reader gets. The tension gradually builds and it pops at you when the results happen. In my blogs you expect my opinions about a certain story whether I agree or disagree. I like describing different character's thoughts and personalities. So you might see me writing about interesting character interactions with one and another. These blogs are helpful to other readers so they have different views on a subject or a book. Sometimes you can't view a subject on one opinion.

The meaning of English could include the language or proper grammar. For the most part, I think English language together with literature written in it, is a subject of study. We study various writing techniques, and specific formats or writing. English writing has parts of speech that follow how to properly speak.

This English class is about reading literature, discussing, learning, and developing writing skills. English is a four-year requirement for college bound students because there are important English skills you will need for everyday use. From essays to business letters, it is helpful to know how to write properly. My difficulty in English is grammar. That’s another thing you might see in my blog.

My blog is for everyone to check my outlook on other subjects/topics. These blogs are basically an open discussion. People who have blogs can express their view on ideas freely. I will try to make my blog less boring than it really should be. I enjoy reading literature that always makes you jump out of the seat, but nothing like a scary thriller. Majority of books I read have a strange twist.
